Chapter 7

"Melanie!" Charles's voice thundered from his room.

She was startled, the photo book fell off from her hand.

She picked it and climbed the staircase up to the bedroom, her face soaked with tears and her head filled with confusion.

Her head ached alot and she couldn't explain what was going on in her mind cause alot was truly flying in and out of it.

She flapped the door open and walked in.

Rose and Charles were lying in bed with a blanket over their body.

"I have been calling you for long now? Why did it take so long to answer?" Charles yelled.

He sounded so mean and this hurt Melanie deeply.

"How can I see a wedding picture of myself with this same man that claims to be married to this woman who was just my bride's maid in the picture?" Melanie thought while glaring at them.

Rose scoffed, Melanie's silence was irritating her.

"Are you deaf or something? He just asked you a question you squirrel head!" Rose screamed.
