Lost In The Wood

EPISODE ONE

Angela shoved her little diary into the backpack she was carrying as she stared around the room to check if she was forgetting something. 

"Angela! Angela!! Sonia what the heck is keeping Angela?" Mrs Loretta Houston shouted from outside. 

The boys walked to the car taking their luggage into the car boot. 

"I don't know momma... I'll go check" little Sonia of 8 years said as she ran back into the bungalow. 

And straight to the girl's room,,, where she shared with her elder sister Angela. 

"Angie.... We are waiting outside,,, dad is about to drive off" Sonia's tiny voice said as Angela breathed heavily. 

"Am really going to miss this house and especially our room" Angela pouted her mouth. 

"Me too but am also very excited that we are moving to Florizol city for good" Sonia smiled broadly. 

Angela only rolled her eyes as she picked up her sneakers and walked out with Sonia sluggishly. 

"You don't really understand,,, I miss my friends here already" Angela sulked. 

"You will make new friends there at Florizol.... I overheard momma and daddy saying we have already been enrolled into a school there" Sonia said as Angela breathed heavily. 

"Move it girls... Let's go! It's a very long journey from here" Mrs Houston said as they hopped into the car. 

The boys and their dad were already in the car as the boys played games with their devices. 

Mrs Houston got into the car as Mr Fredrick Houston ignited the car engine. 

They drove out of the bungalow as Angela stared back at the house sadly.

"I can't wait to make new friends" Sonia the chatty type said as Joel scoffed. 

"Yeah right... You're nothing but a playhead" Joel teased her. 

"Duh... I don't even like the idea of moving out" Angela blurted out. 

"That's because you are an introvert" Dan said as Angela shrugged. 

"Whatever... I just don't like that hous" Angela said 

"I love it..." Sonia cut in sharply 

"Whether you like it or not,,, dad already bought the house and we are moving into it like in the next three hours" Dan said as they snorted. 

The rest of the journey was in silence as they plugged the ear phones into their ears. 

Actually,,,, the Houston's family are finally moving into their new house in Florizol. 

Mr Fredrick Houston bought a new duplex at Florizol and most especially,,, moving to Florizol will help him be close to his business. 

The kids are all so excited except Angela. 

Who is more like an introvert with just a friend Sara. 

She was so sad that she's going to leave behind her best friends Sara knowing fully that it would be very difficult for her to make new friends. 

The only company she would have now is her diary.

But that's not the only reason why she doesn't want to move. 

She just has an awful feeling about the place since she heard its beside the woods. 

*Woods__ means a forested area*

Like her friend told her some creepy folktales about such place.

* * * * * * * 

FEW HOURS LATER..... 

Mr Fredrick drove into the magnificent duplex as they all gasped in excitement. 

"We are here" Mr Fredrick said as they jumped out of the car in happiness. 

"This is so big " Joel and Sonia exclaimed as they rushed inside the duplex before everyone else. 

The couple burst into laughter. 

They all entered the duplex while Angela walked in sluggishly. 

"This should be room... I was told it's pink" Sonia screamed in delight. 

"Of course that's mine" Dan said as they walked into almost all the room jumping around and screaming in excitement. 

"Angela brightened up sweetheart,,, you will having a big room all to yourself and I have it painted your favorite color which is blue" Mrs Houston said as Angela forced a smile. 

Angela walked into her room. 

It was quite big and beautiful. 

Even bigger than the room she shared with her sister Sonia back in the big city. 

But she actually had a bad feeling about it. 

She kept her backpack on the bed as she walked around the room. 

Her eyes caught a white doll beside her bed. 

it was quite beautiful but old looking. 

She picked up the doll staring at it. 

Suddenly,,, a strong wind blew heavily to her surprise. 

That her backpack fell from the bed as thunder clapped noisily. 

She became visibly scared as the room's light switched off. 

"GIVE ME BACK MY DOLL" A strange voice echoed in her room......
