Karen was once obsessed with tribal witch Lyra, who falsely accused me of stealing the Moon Soul Flower, claiming I cursed her spirit sight. My destined mate, Alpha Karen, whipped me before the Moon Goddess statue and banished me to the frozen Cliff of Sinful Wolves. When I returned, I became tame, hiding all my wolf nature in front of him, becoming just a gentle shadow. But when he discovered the truth about what happened at the Cliff in my blood-stained wolf tooth talisman, he went crazy. "Elara, please, answer my mate's call one more time!"

Driven by his lust to mate with the sorceress, my destined Alpha tore away all I had and exiled me into a frozen hell.

The day I returned to the Silver Moon tribe, I couldn't smell Karen's scent.

Snow was falling heavily, and it was bone-chilling cold.

He refused to join the welcome party.

"Lyra is holding a prophecy ceremony and needs concentration. She feels a disturbance. I must stay with her. Go see the elders by yourself."

Through the wolf howl message, Karen's voice was ice-cold and heartless.

I silently wrapped the worn animal hide tighter around me and dragged my heavy steps toward the tribal council hall.

Even though I had only struggled at the Cliff of Sinful Wolves for one winter, this familiar territory felt strangely foreign to me.

The day Karen locked the silver chain that suppressed my wolf nature around my neck, I looked into his merciless eyes and couldn't speak a single word.

I couldn't howl out my innocence.

I never touched that so-called Moon Soul Flower.

But before I could even process the burning anger and disappointment in his eyes, his warriors took me to that sunless, frozen wasteland.

Throughout that long winter.

I stumbled through snowstorms for days, blood seeping from my cracked paws, but I never found the warmth that once belonged to me.

Perhaps I had lost my home long ago.

My pack was consumed by plague when I was young. Karen's tribe took me in, and Karen was once my only faith.

Now, Karen had abandoned me for his trusted prophet Lyra.

Throughout the cold winter, he never showed me any mercy, never spared a moment's thought for the Cliff of Sinful Wolves.

Countless times I tried to suppress my longing for him, crying in the snow, just wanting to return to my Alpha's side.

Until the day I was poisoned by giant frost spiders on the cliff.

With my wolf spirit nearly shattered, I used my last strength to carve a blood mark on the cliff wall, hoping patrol guards would find it.

The only response was deeper despair and Lyra's mockery through mental messaging.

"Don't hope for Alpha's mercy, traitor."

Karen had forsaken me. I had nowhere to go.

"You dare to come back? After a winter at the Cliff of Sinful Wolves, you're still just as proud, haven't changed a bit!"

Karen sat in the main seat of the elder council hall, his ice-blue eyes sharp as the cliff-top ice, examining me critically.

"Did you know Lyra is performing an important prophecy about the tribe's fate today? Is that why you chose today to return? What are you plotting? Do you think the council will defend you?"

"You flower thief, traitor to the tribe!"

"I... I didn't, Karen, I just... finished my banishment period."

My voice was hoarse and dry, every breath pulling at old wounds inside me.

But the Alpha pressure he gave off made me instinctively want to submit.

Karen's eyes grew colder, radiating from his chest.

I trembled, using all my strength not to crawl on the ground in front of everyone.

"Karen... my Alpha, I've been punished. Please, don't... banish me again. I'll do anything, just let me have a place to stay."

Some of the older elders looked sympathetic and tried to speak for me.

"Go back to where you belong, don't be an eyesore to the elders."

Karen's voice had no warmth at all, and he didn't even look at me again.

I quietly left the council hall, following behind him like a ghost, keeping a humble distance.

When he entered his warm, spacious den lined with rare snow fox fur, I stopped at the cold entrance.

"What are you standing there for?" he turned back, annoyed.

I lowered my head and said quietly, "The smell on my body... it's awful. I'm afraid I'll dirty your den."

Karen's jawline tightened. He seemed about to say something but finally just growled impatiently, "Get in, don't block the way!"
