Love Clash

"Ouch! Are you blind?" Anthony snapped as he grabbed Catherina's arm and pulled her back by the hair, making her stumble and almost fall.

“Who the fuck are you?”

Catherina winced in pain but looked up at him with a mixture of surprise and anger in her eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there," she mumbled, trying to keep her composure despite the pain.

“You are sorry? Do you know how much that shoe costs, let alone the feet that are inside it? I am Anthony Moyes, a billionaire by birth. I could pay your way out of this school!”

Hearing that, Catherina lowered her head, “I am deeply sorry, Master Anthony. I have no excuse, I'm sorry.”

Anthony's expression softened slightly as he realized the pain he had caused her. He saw her cranial veins visible and she went pale around her hair. But still, he chose not to break. “Watch out next time.”

Catherina touched the spot where he had pulled her hair and turned as she began to walk away.

Anthony had financial power, even though, when he stepped up to bully people, they have always spoken back or try to fight. But in this case, he saw a vulnerable lady, who had said sorry countless times. “Hey,” he called and she looked back. “I'm sorry.”

Now he saw her tears as they streamed down her cheek. And now he could see her face fully - she had an oval face with small facial features, nothing superfluous about them all; she also had the heigh, which commemorated her long legs and thick thighs; she smiled as she looked back and muttered “okay” and he sighted her white set of teeth canopied under the pink lips."

It's okay, I'm fine. And I'm sorry, I'll be more careful next time," she replied, trying to brush off the incident.

Just then, the sky darkened and rain began to pour down. They were caught under the pavilion and the cold breeze blew in from all angles, soaking them both in the wetness of the air.

Anthony looked around, trying to find shelter, but there was nothing in sight. He shivered from the sudden cold and his teeth chattered.

Catherina noticed his discomfort and felt a pang of sympathy for him. "Come, let me hold you," she said softly, stepping closer to him and putting her arms around him in a hug.

Anthony was taken aback by her sudden act of kindness and warmth. He hesitated for a moment before wrapping his arms around her and resting his head on her shoulder. The feeling of her embrace was comforting and he felt a sense of peace wash over him.

"Why are you so innocent and helpful?" he whispered, breaking the silence between them.

Catherina chuckled softly, the sound melodic and soothing to Anthony's ears. "Because I'm innocent, and I have received help too," she replied.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“I have no financial background to look back to. I'm here due to a scholarship through the community. This is just a way of giving back, helping anyone in need of it,” she answered.

“Even though I just hurt you?”

“It doesn't matter,” she answered. 

Anthony looked into her eyes, seeing a depth of emotion that he had not expected. He felt a surge of gratitude towards her for accepting him despite his harsh behavior towards her earlier. "Thank you," he murmured, his voice filled with sincerity.

Catherina smiled at him, her eyes shining with compassion. "You're welcome," she said softly, squeezing him tighter in a hug.

After the rain, Anthony offered to give her a ride home and Catherina accepted. 

As they drove through the suburb where Catherina lived, Anthony couldn't help but feel the stark contrast between his world of luxury and the humble neighborhood they were passing through. He glanced over at Catherina, who was looking out the window with a peaceful expression on her face.

"Is this where you stay?" Anthony asked, breaking the silence.

Catherina nodded, her eyes still fixed on the passing houses. "Yes, this is home for me."

Anthony couldn't fathom how someone as beautiful and kind-hearted as Catherina could live in such a place. But he couldn't deny the pull he felt towards her, the way his heart raced whenever he was near her.

He drove in silence, lost in his thoughts until Catherina spoke up. "Where are you going?"

"I want to go in, I can't go empty-handed," Anthony replied.

“In?” 

“Yes, I want to say hi to your parents, for raising you to be this kind and innocent,” he answered.

They pulled into a mall parking lot, and Anthony led Catherina inside to a small restaurant. He ordered three packs of rice and chicken, insisting that he would come back tomorrow as well.

“We won't be here tomorrow,” Catherina said.

“Why?”

“Our rent is ending today. I don't know where we will be tomorrow,” she answered.

"I'll get you an apartment," Anthony stated, “I'll clear the debts and You won't have to worry about rent anymore."

Catherina looked at him with surprise and gratitude in her eyes. She stared endlessly and Anthony leaned in to kiss her.

Anthony couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to take care of her, to make sure she didn't have to struggle anymore. He had never felt this way about anyone before, and it both scared and excited him.

As they drove back to Catherina's house, Anthony couldn't help but wonder how he had become so drawn to her. He had met plenty of girls in his life and had been with plenty of them, but none had touched his heart like Catherina did.

For the first time, Anthony felt like he would do anything for a woman. He wanted to protect her, to make her happy, to be the one she could rely on. And as they pulled up to her house, he made a silent vow to himself that he would do whatever it took to make that happen.
