Book 4: Twenty five

Michael walked to the elevator and pressed the ground floor button. As the doors closed, he leaned on the wall and closed his eyes, his hands in his pantsuit pockets. He was gradually slumping inside himself and he didn’t want that and so tried his possible best not to think or be emotional. The elevator dinged and he jumped slightly, waiting for the doors to open. As it did, he walked out and smiled at the nurse there. He heaved a sigh and quietly walked out of the hospital. The sky was dark but with the help of the street lights, he could see how bright everywhere was, too bad he wasn’t as bright as it and really wished it would go dark and moody like he feels.

There weren’t much people on the street and he loved it like that, he took a step and then slowly strolled along the street. He was like an empty vessel walking through the street.
