Love Me Again

Evelyn's POV

"I'm in Café Golden. How would I recognize him?" I asked my friend Sana over the phone.

"He said that he would be wearing a white shirt and black pants." She replied.

My eyes scanned the whole cafe to get a glimpse of the man wearing a white shirt and black pants. Finally, I found him. This shitty head will definitely pay for his sins today. I marched towards his table and took the glass of water. I threw water at his face and smirked.

"What the bloody hell?" He shouted like a mad man.

"Well, that's what you deserve for your sins. And you are lucky that I just threw the water, not that hot coffee. " I hissed at him.

"Who the hell are you in the first place? Why are you picking on me unnecessarily?" He asked.

"I'm the best friend of the girl, whom you have been troubling. You think my friend is weak and you can take advantage of her. Hell no, man. You have to deal with me first. " I said angrily and slapped him across the face.

"How dare you touch me? What are you talking about? I don't know you and any of your friends. If you were a man, you would have been dead the moment you insulted me." He roared .

"I'm talking about my friend Sana, whom you have been stalking and sending her cheap messages from the past month. Now, enough of your drama. You rich freaks, you think you can get whatever you want." I said.

"Listen, I'm telling you for the last time. I don't know any Sana. You must have made some mistakes. Now, just move." He said and picked up his keys and wallet from the table.

He was trying to walk out of the cafe, but I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me to stop him from going. He suddenly lost his balance when I pulled him suddenly and he fell on top of me. His ocean blue eyes,for a second I felt like I'm drowning into them.

"What do you think you are doing, lady?" He asked while getting up. I was expecting him to give me a hand to help me stand, but he didn't. He is such a jerk.

"I was just trying to stop you." I said and got up on my own. I grabbed his collar to warn him.

"Listen, dude, don't try to act cool and innocent. I know what kind of creep you are. Just stay the hell away from Sana. If you try to cross her path again, you will be dead." I warned him while looking straight into his eyes.

Just then, Sana walked in and removed my hands from his collar. She started apologising to him for my behavior, and that irritated me.

"What the hell, Sana? Why are you even apologising to this brat? You don't have to be scared of him. He won't dare to lay a finger on you." I narrowed my eyes on him.

"You dumbo, he is not the one. You are messing up with the wrong person here. That guy went to my place after waiting for me here. Thankfully, dad was home, and he handled that creep. I was even calling you again and again to tell you about that, but you were not even picking. " Sana told me, and I felt like my soul froze.

I looked at that man, and he was sending death glares towards me. Oh my god! I want the earth to swallow me instantly. It's so embarrassing now. His deadly stares were sending shivers down my spine. I'm speechless. What do I do now?

"Miss crazy head, I hope now your doubts are cleared. I've an important meeting to attend. Otherwise, I would have loved to make it fair and square here." He glared at me last time and walked through the exit.

I was looking at his walking figure. Oh! I need to apologise to him for the little stunt I just pulled. It must have been so embarrassing for him. I walked behind him to apologise.

"Hey, listen. Please stop, I need to say sorry. " I tried to apologise, but he ignored me and drove away.

I walked inside the cafe again, and my eyes leaned on the table he was sitting on. He left his handkerchief. I took it, and a strong smell filled my nostrils. It was the same as the cologne he was wearing.

"Did you apologise to him ?"Sana asked and I shook my head as a no.

"He left before I could apologise. " I told her. I'm feeling so guilty for acting all bitchy with him .

"So, what exactly did you do before I walked in?" She asked curiously.

Both of us sat on a table and ordered some coffee while I was telling her the whole shit. She almost choked on her coffee after hearing what I did.

"Holy moly, Eve you literally slapped that dude. Look at his handsome face and hot body. Girls would drool over his handsome face and you literally slapped him." She asked with wide eyes.

"Literally, I did so wrong. God knows will I ever get a chance to make it up to him." I sighed.

We left the cafe, and I reached home. Whole time he was the one running in my mind. I laid on my bed trying to sleep. Then my eyes fell on his handkerchief lying on the bed . I took that handkerchief in my hand and again I could smell his cologne. I was hoping that I could meet him again.

"Just wait Mr Stranger, maybe we meet again some day and I can make it up to you. I misunderstood you and I feel bad saying all those bad words to you. Just once god, give me a chance to meet him once again." I prayed to god and closed my eyes. I didn't even realised when I drifted to dreamland.
