A Letter of Dreams

We saw the parade on the road after riding the merry-go-round. The kids ran after the bouncing sail. Kevin led me to the roadside, grabbed the helium balloon in my hand, and then held my hand.

"There are too many people, and it's easy to become separated." He casually mentioned ignoring my red-faced face.

“Mm…”

The sun was shining brightly, and my face was scorching.

'It's the sun... it's the sun...'

I didn't tell him it was my first visit to an amusement park.

Kevin went ice cream shopping, while I sat on the seat outside the castle and waited.

I didn't notice the jewel-eyed, plump little girl next to me, who was staring at me with great anticipation.

I followed her gaze and looked down to see the Doll I was holding.

It was a princess doll, and the little girl was dressed similarly.

The little girl appeared to be four to five years old, dressed in a fuzzy princess gown made of pink cotton.

Very cute.

“Little sister.” I gave her a friendly wave. "Where are your parents?"
