Chapter 16

Alena couldn't even sleep. She was so excited. She woke up like four times to see if it was morning, so they can go out. When she woke up again, it was still dark.

She sighed. She felt Edmund moved lightly on his side of the bed, before wrapping a lazy arm on her. She frowned, looking outside before drifting back to sleep.

She woke up again, and got out of bed to look outside. The sun was rising. She smiled excitedly, and sat on the bed. She squealed lightly as she turned to Edmund, started shaking him to wake him up.

"Edmund," she whispered, and he groaned. "Edmund," she whispered again but he ignored her. "Edmund!" She yelled, shaking him harder.

"What, woman? What?" He groaned irritated, opening his eyes lightly.

"It's morning. Get up!"

He looked outside for a moment, and looked at her, sighing. "No. It's still dark."
