Chapter 24: Probing Ivor

I gave Mark a gentle smile and said, “I’ll consider.”

Of course, I had no plans to return to this place either. I was unlikely to be a shareholder of that hotel. But I didn’t want to go with Mark, I was not too close to him.

The hotel staff informed us they would not open the dome glass door because the wind was too strong tonight. Opening the glass door of the dome would adversely affect our experience. I came near the glass door of the dome, looking at the sea. Beach campfires interested me.

“Lia, what makes you so excited down there?” Mark asked.

Ivor and Mark had sat down, there were three glasses of wine and a plate of fruit on the small table.

“The view of the beach and campfire,” I answered Mark and laughed. I sat down at the empty seat, which was in the middle of their seat, and sipped a glass of wine.

“What kind of champagne do you guess it is?” Mark asked. He held a glass of champagne in his left hand, his right hand plucked the grapes from the bunch and put them in his mouth
