Chapter 13

Emily didn't care if Jason thought she was cheap and gave love too quickly. It's not like that in reality. Emily will only give it to people who are supposed to receive her love and devotion.

Who else, if not Jason, is her husband?

Even now, both of them were still frozen and silent; they uttered not a sound.

Jason had told Emily he would work on it, but not this way. It will only be a burden for him. It will become a necessity for him in the end.

“I already said that I would try, Em. You don't have to ask, or even don't force me. It's difficult to let go of someone from your heart, especially after just a few days."

Excuses!

For Emily, what Jason said was just an excuse, so he didn't have to fulfill what he had said before. Even though Emily asked, what's the matter? Hadn't Jason promised her first, and Emily soared high into the sky?

“I'm not insisting. I'm just saying what I should say. Like it or not, we are husband and wife now. Shouldn't we be able to try to love each other?”
