Chapter 126 He Was Looking For That Woman Furiously

The sound of cars sounded behind them. Uno, Dos, and the gang were taking six cars in total. They formed themselves in a row and stopped in front of the entrance of the party.

The man strode over and stopped in front of Uno. Suddenly...

Smack!

A slap landed on his face.

“Where is she?” the cold voice asked.

Uno was confused. “Boss, who?”

“Jane. I asked you to watch her. Where is she?” His cold gaze landed on Uno. When Uno heard Jane’s name, his heart sank. His face turned pale. “Boss, I…”

“You didn’t carry out my orders well enough. You treat Jane as if she is nothing. You didn’t ask the underlings to keep an eye on her, did you? Yes or no?”

“Boss…” Uno broke out in cold sweat. It was true that he did not care about that woman. What was so good about that woman anyway? She killed Rosaline, and she insulted the person she killed.

Sean’s handsome face was cold. He pointed at Uno’s nose. “I don’t have time to deal with you now.” After he said that, he ordered Dos, “Maneuver the people. Get everyone in S City here. Find her!”

Dos’ heart was conflicted. He had not seen his boss this way for a very long time. He nodded immediately as an acknowledgement of his orders.

Sean looked at the venue of the party. He suddenly remembered that this woman had stood on the jumping board of the swimming pool and confessed to him many years ago.

The light in his eyes went out. He turned around and got into his car. “Alora, stay here. If you find her, tell me.” Then, he looked at the others. “You guys too. Anyone who finds Jane has to contact me immediately.”

Then, he remembered something. “Get two people to stay downstairs of her dorm and office. Call me if you see her.”

After he said that, he stepped on the pedal and the car zoomed forward.

Aside from the coldness on the man’s handsome face, there was also faint worry.

He did not know why he was so worried after hearing the news that his woman was missing.

He did not know why he was so anxious when Alora asked him whether this woman would kill herself.

He did not know!

However, he had to find her!

The car drove on the high trestle bridge of S City. He was driving along each and every street in search of Jane Dunn. However, Sean did not realize one thing. In other people’s eyes, he was doing something very stupid He was merely trying to find a needle in a haystack! How could he find one person in a sea of people?

However, he did just that.

He put on his Bluetooth earphones and called Alora, Uno, Dos, and his other underlings. “Have you found her?

“Have you seen her?

“Is she home?

“What about the office?”

Sean’s underlings got more and more anxious with every phone call he made.

Time passed slowly, and it was already 11:30 pm. It would be the next day in half an hour.

Suddenly!

An image flashed inside the head of the man who was sitting on the driver’s seat.

He turned on his signal quickly and made a turn to head to another direction.

It seemed like the car had arrived at its destination. Sean’s long legs got out of the car before slamming the door shut.

He walked toward the door slowly.

She was here indeed.

The woman was leaning against the iron gate without caring about her image. The man’s long legs stood in front of her.

Jane lifted her head slowly and looked at that familiar face.

“Are you here to laugh at me?” she asked with her cackling voice. She did not want to know why this man had come to this place at this time. She did not want to know about all these… Tonight, she was exhausted.

“Alora said you went missing,” replied the deep voice.

His subconscious wanted to say, ‘I’m looking for you.’

At this moment, Jane did not care. She also did not notice the tiny details in that sentence.

He stood in front of her and looked at her with his head lowered for a long while.

At least a quarter of an hour passed.

Suddenly, his eyes looked determined. It looked like he had made an important decision.

The man bent his waist suddenly and reached out to her.

Smack!

Jane smacked that long and lean hand away. “Don’t touch me.” She did not want to put on a performance tonight.

The man’s gaze shifted slowly to look at his palm that had been smacked away. He did not get angry. Instead, he crouched down in front of the woman. “When we were young, you, me, and Rosaline skipped school to come to this playground.

“Rosaline was timid, so she was forced to come here by you. I didn’t want to listen to that old man talking about Mathematics, so I just went along with your suggestion. The three of us skipped school and came here. We tried everything except for that Ferris wheel. Rosaline wanted to ride it, but you didn’t. You didn’t want to, and you even stopped me from riding it.

“I remember you saying to me all domineeringly, ‘Before Sean falls in love with Jane, Jane will never ride the Ferris wheel.’”

Jane was touched. She continued Sean’s sentence. “I remember your answer. You told me firmly, ‘Sean will never fall in love with Jane in this lifetime.’” She fisted her hands. All of her misfortune started the moment she fell in love with Sean.

She looked at the man in front of her. This man had caused her to lose too many things.

First, it was her heart. Then, it was her identity and past. This was followed by her freedom and dignity. What next? Then, in her dark, suffocating, and smelly life, she finally found a ray of light. Whenever that special man looked at her, there was no despise, sarcasm, or ridicule. However, everything went away today.

She thought long and hard as she sat here. Why was everything she owned being taken away from her slowly? The reason was right in front of her—Sean Stewart.

There was a flash of pain in the man’s eyes. He did not like how the woman was looking at him now. He puffed up his cheeks and reached out to her once again.

This time, he firmly grabbed the hand that was smacking at his hand. He exerted some force and pulled. He successfully pulled the person by her hand into his arms. Then, his hands traveled lower, and he carried her bridal style. Sean stood up and walked away.

“Follow me.”

Jane struggled. “Let me go! Let me go!” She was scared of this man. At this moment, she did not want to see this man!

“Shh.” He forced the woman into the passenger seat. He pressed down on her shoulders and placed a finger on her lips. “The only thing you need to do now is sleep.”

There was pity in the man’s eyes. It was so subtle that even the man himself did not realize it.

“My body, my rules. I don’t want to sleep. I don’t want to rest.” She was throwing a tantrum. So many things had happened today. She did not want to put on an act anymore.

The man ignored her. He moved to the driver’s seat. “When I say that you need to rest, then you need to rest. You have to be a good girl. Bad girls will get punished.”

The man’s voice was cold. However, when one listened to him closely, one could hear the pity in his voice.

However, no one noticed that. Not Jane, and certainly not even Sean himself.
