Henry's words were utterly baffling to me. I couldn't make any sense of them.

He sneered, "You've started pretending to be innocent again!"

Then, he suddenly slammed his fist down on the desk, which startled me.

He approached me, holding up his phone, and demanded, "Do you dare to claim you didn't set up this trap deliberately?"

I focused on the phone screen, revealing a video taken some time ago inside the presidential suite.

The video showed Henry holding Cynthia possessively, while she appeared vulnerable and distressed in his arms, whimpering softly.

I was shocked and vehemently denied, "It wasn't me! I absolutely had nothing to do with this!"

However, Henry remained skeptical.

He tossed the phone aside and forcefully pushed me, causing me to stumble and collide with the solid wooden desk, resulting in intense pain.

Henry leaned over me, opened his belt with a snap, and said with a chilling tone, "Since you claim to love me so much, I'll satisfy you thoroughly once."

"Yvonne, this time, I'll ensure you remember it for the rest of your life!"

The man before me was more sinister than the devil himself.

"Henry..." I tried to explain, but he suddenly thrust forward.

I screamed in agony, drenched in cold sweat, and completely out of control.

Henry maniacally laughed and taunted, "Does it hurt? Be patient, you'll enjoy it soon."

My vision blurred with tears as I struggled desperately, gasping, "Henry..."

"Trust me..."

"I swear it wasn't me..."

But Henry couldn't be bothered with my words.

He pinned me down with one hand and covered my mouth with the other.

The ordeal continued from day into night, and blood flowed.

Henry eventually tossed me aside when I was on the verge of losing consciousness.

I gasped, "It wasn't me..."

I gazed at the man who was now tidying himself up. "It really wasn't me..."

He shot me a malevolent glance, then erupted in anger once more.

I closed my eyes, but the expected excruciating pain didn’t come.

Instead, a crumpled ball of paper struck my face, shattering my heart.

My consciousness began to fade.

Someone arrived and appeared panicked as they covered me with a coat, hastily making a phone call.

Their concern wasn't for me, but rather, they feared the Luther family would discover what had occurred.

To avoid being discovered, I couldn't even go to the hospital.

A doctor came and did some basic treatment for me, and after three days of rest, I was finally able to get out of bed.

My first order of business was to visit Henry.

I didn't expect to find Cynthia in our bedroom.

I leaned on the stairwell railing, taking unsteady steps.

Just as I descended the stairs, I heard a burst of giggles like tinkling bells.
