I glanced at Henry and Cynthia, then after a brief moment of thought, I said, "Come with me."

Without waiting for a response, I took the lead to guide them.

However, Henry didn't seem eager to follow my lead, while Cynthia, with an air of annoyance, held his hand firmly and said, "I must see what kind of trap my sister, who has lived a life of luxury since childhood, has prepared for me."

I escorted them to a presidential suite on the starry level.

I loved this place and had spared no expense to rent it for twenty years.

However, I had never had the chance to enjoy the view myself.

Now, they could have a private moment inside.

Cynthia was convinced I had ill intentions and entered the suite, making a conspicuous effort to inspect every corner.

Henry gently reassured her and held her close.

After a while, Cynthia's cheerful laughter, reached my ears through the door.

When Henry came out, I asked, "Do you believe now that I genuinely want to help you two?"

He gazed at me deeply and replied, "Even a fool knows that patience can lead to a big catch. Yvonne, you're more cunning than a fool."

I was at a loss for words and softly inquired, "What do I need to do to make you believe me?"

Henry's eyes were cold, and he walked past me without a word, simply saying, "Follow me."

I obediently followed him, and we smoothly played our roles as a couple.

After the wedding, Henry and I took the same car back to our home. Henry changed his clothes and left in a hurry.

Three days later, I received a call from Henry's secretary.

He wanted to meet me in his office.

I thought that this time, our divorce was certain.

Before leaving, I packed my personal belongings.

Afterward, I hopped into the car Henry had arranged for me, feeling completely at ease.

Luther Corporation is a huge conglomerate with operations in various industries, both domestically and internationally.

Henry currently serves as the company's CEO.

His office was on the eighteenth floor, offering a spacious view with plenty of natural light.

Everywhere you looked, there was a clean and minimalistic design.

I approached Henry's desk and placed the signed divorce agreement on it.

Since Henry hadn't been willing to prepare the agreement himself, I took it upon myself to do it.

"After I leave from here, I'll make one last stop at our former home, and then I'll disappear from your life forever."

Henry, dressed in a sharp black suit, was seated in a genuine leather chair.

He swiveled around to face me. As I watched, he raised his head sharply, and when his gaze met mine, I could feel a strong, palpable hostility.

Throughout our marriage, Henry had always been somewhat distant in his attitude toward me.

However, this was the first time I had seen him wear such an aggressive expression while looking at me.

He stared at me intensely, as though he wanted to devour me.

"Yvonne," he said, his tone dripping with venom, "you truly are malicious."
