"What?!" Harley bellowed in disbelief. His dark brown eyes widened as he listened to Julian speak. His wolf-like ears flattened and he shook his head.

I moved my head slowly, feeling like the world was spinning. The old chair I sat in swallowed me up as the wolfsbane numbed my primal system.
