Chapter 48: Two Hits

A week later, Trina didn't leave her sister's side and she was the one who took care of it.

Sashalyn can still sit and walk but she needs support. She is now sitting in a wheelchair here in the garden.

"When do you plan to leave?" She asked.

"Tomorrow, we leave." I said with a smile and held her by her hand. "Salve will find me." She whispered softly.

"He can't get you from us." I turned to Trina. It carries a plate containing fruit. "Eat this, I hope you will get stronger and better." Sashalyn smiled slightly. “Thank you.”

I watched the twins sprawled on the grass holding their toys. The day my worst thing happened, I couldn't do anything but agree with Luke.

I wonder, are we parents too baleful to let children learn such things at such a young age?

I also think that it is just for them so that they can defend themselves from harm.

"Your son is different from all children, Elle." Trina's language.

"I am against that thing but what can I do now that there is a danger to us." I smiled
