Chapter 29: Dude! Shirt!

Did you see what we saw? KT Parker and Austin King had some company at LAX! The question on everyone's mind is who is this? She doesn't look like the women either man usually goes for. Could this be Austin's new flame? Some have asked just where did he pick her up?

"I've gotta go to L.A.," Austin finally told Shelby one night in bed. It'd been on his mind for a week, but he couldn't figure out a way to bring it up. He hated how separate his life had become. He was living two lives, a life in Nebraska with his family, with Shelby, and a life as Austin King, the guy in a band.

"How long will you be gone?" she asked as she curled up next to him.

"I'm hoping you'll come with me."

"I've got a lot going on here, Anna will be out of the hospital soon, so I need to make sure she has a place to move into."

"It's on track, I checked with the foreman yesterday."

"I'm not sure Agnes can survive without me either," she told him.
