Helping the Captain

Captain Marco smiled, he knew that voice. He stood up and slowly turned around, and then he looked up at her and her jaws dropped in shock. She certainly didn’t expect to see him here, and he was probably the last person she expected to see here.

“You?” she muttered in disbelief. “What are you doing here? Get down before someone sees you,” she instructed and pushed him down immediately.

They both lay on the floor, side by side and stared at each other. “Hello Elena,” he said and smiled at her. He was quite amazed that she cared about his safety even when he was going to send her to jail.

“Are you just ignorant or perhaps foolish to show up here, they would kill you the moment they set their eyes on you,” she muttered with fear in her eyes. “What were you thinking?” she scolded.

“Not if I kill them first,” he retorted.

Elena scoffed. “Trying to be brave? Looks like you want an early and miserable death. Don’t be smarter than yourself, you dummy. How many of them can you fight? I guess
