"Eiii...if it's not the preschool teacher and the good Samaritan." Serwaa teased as she met Akosua at the wedding of one of their SHS classmates. "Serwaa, how may I help you ?" She asked ignoring her previous comment. "You can't help me o, your poor wretched self can't do me any help at all." She insulted.

"Serwaa, I've had enough of your insults. No one insults you for sleeping with married men for money o, so allow me to live my life annoyance of a dying cockroach, mtchwwww." Akosua added as she left Serwaa standing aimlessly. Akosua decided to forget about her problems and free her mind. She enjoyed herself at the lady's wedding before going home. Kwame had sold his house and had given her some part of it to keep to take care of the costs involved in solving the case. He had moved to stay with his mom. Sometimes he goes to stay with Kwabena and other times he comes to visit Akosua in her home.

"Mr, Tension Boateng, was found not guilty of the crime he was admitted of. But still, the company has relieved him of his duties because they claim it was too late to reinstate him as they've found a new CEO of the company. His name would be released during the week." Bridget Otoo, the presenter of TV3 news announced.

"That's wonderful news!" Akosua exclaimed as she watched the news.

"We thank God for this news, God no go shame us o!" She added dancing happily around the room.

"This one you're dancing, I think you must have heard the good news?" Kwame asked as he entered her room. She turned and walked to hug him.

"I'm happy for you dear." She said offering him a seat and serving him with juice and a bowl of banku with Okro stew and then water, to drink and wash his hands.

"Thank you, Akosua, but you must know I still haven't got my job back, the company decided not to give me my position or a job there." He added swallowing the food.

"The fact that you've been proved not guilty shows God's mercies in your life. You'd get a job and get back on your feet just you wait and trust in him." She advised.

"Thank you for your kind words. You've been a great friend through these hard times and I know my God will reward you handsomely. Who knows he'd give you a man of your heart desires." Kwame said washing his hands.

"Amen o, I know he has already done it." She said as she picked the bowls Kwame ate in.

"So as you've been vindicated, what's your next move?" Akosua asked.

"Well, it's only my savings account that has been released. So, I would withdraw money to get a flat then start up from there." He said playing with her hair.

Kwabena sent a wedding invitation card via WhatsApp to Kwame's phone. Amma was getting married that coming Saturday.

"Herh ɛmaaa(hei, women!)" He exclaimed. "What is it?" Akosua asked.

"Kwabena just sent me a picture of a wedding invitation of a lady I was going out within my office." He added shocked.

"What I'm baffled about is how she could meet another man and get engaged to him talk less about marriage in these few weeks unless she was cheating on him with me or using me to pass time." Kwame reasoned.

Akosua sat starring at him while he talked. So you were going out with all these women and never looked my way. Or is it because I am a preschool teacher? What has love got to do with status? Now they've all left and I am the one suffering with you. She thought to herself.

"You men too are also someway, everything you see in the skirt you want to enter and see where that has landed you." She added hurt.

"In the end, you'd say women only love money and nothing else, when the faithful ones come your way, you don't notice them because you think they're too naïve." She continued ranting.

"It's okay, Akosua I've heard you." He rudely cut her off. "Alright, sorry for poking my nose where it doesn't belong." She added with a smile masking her hurt.

Kwame's phone rang as he was talking to Akosua. It was Amma. He picked up the phone and said: "Hey, ɔbaa hemmaa (hello queen)." He flattered.

"Kwame o s3 Kwesi nso ( Kwame or whatever you call yourself), I didn't call to be flattered, I just wanted you to know that I'm getting married next week Saturday and whatever we had was just a fling, so I don't want your broke self near me or call me again. Enjoy your new state wretched man! Mtchwwww." She puffed as she hung up. She didn't let him say even a word before dropping the call.

Three gone, one left. Let's see if she'd be willing to stay. He thought to himself.

"Akosua, I've been thinking." He said staring at her. "What's on your mind?" She questioned. "I was thinking maybe you sell your flat so we can add resources and get a new one where we can both live." He tested her.

"Kwame, I understand but I cannot come and live with a man who I am not married to. I don't want to be overly dependent." She answered.

"No offence though." She added.

"None taken." He smiled. "What's making you happy?" She asked. "Another woman would have jumped at this opportunity in a flash, but you didn't. You're a rare gem and soon, God will bless you with your heart desires." He answered.

"Amen and amen." She answered.

"By the way, how is Maakua?" She asked. "She's very fine, she's been asking of her attie Akosua anytime I visit," Kwame added mimicking him soon to be 3 years old.

"Awww, my baby I've missed her so much. One day take me to go and see her okay?" She pleaded.

"Don't worry, I will. Akosua I have to go, I would see you later." Kwame said as she saw him off at the gate.

"Hi, Kwame." Abena entered getting out of a taxi. "Hey, Abena." He smiled as he entered the taxi that dropped her off. Akosua waved him as the taxi driver off.

"Lovebirds." Abena teased her friend. "I hope so, for now, no strings attached," Akosua explained.

"Patience my friend very soon you'd be his girlfriend, then fiancee then Mrs Boateng," Abena added.

"I receive it, "Akosua said loudly as they entered her apartment.
