Keerah's POV

Even though Eric was gone for a few minutes now, I couldn't help but have a tiny bit of the hope that he would turn around even for a split second just to tell me he would be back.

But he didn't, I waited and waited and continued to wait all the while ignoring all the questions thrown at me by the guy who was seated on the chair beside me, the same guy who had been hugging only a while ago.

"Hey, Damien let her be for now," I heard my mom say to the guy who was seated beside me.

"She doesn't remember anything, " she added.

"Oh my God, baby are you okay?" My mom asked with a sort of urgency in her voice and that snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Look, Damien, you made her cry," she scolded the guy beside me.

I didn't understand why she said that because I did not realize the tears I had been trying so hard to hold back has rolled down my cheeks until I reached up to my hands to my face and touched the wetness on it.
