Fainted

Eric’s POV...

The phone rang for quite a while and she didn’t pick up which almost made me start the car to drive over to her apartment, but just before it would stop ringing, she answered with a quiet hello.

"Hello, " she asked into the phone a few times, but I was quiet because I didn’t think it was okay for me to talk to her over the phone, not after the last conversations we had.

"Why did you call if you weren’t going to say anything," she said just when I was about to end the call.

I sighed loudly and told her I was coming over to her house to have a real talk about the whole pregnancy issue.

While I was still speaking with her, I almost forgot that Keerah could actually be the one in danger and that made me yell a few curse words in Italian before ending the call and starting the car quickly and zooming off to the Duke Walters mansion.

"Shit!" I kept yelling a few times as I thought of the way I had left her back at her house without a a word.
