Chapter 15

Mica got off the train and boarded a cab home - a place she never thought she'd be in years. 

As she sat at the backseat, next to the window, she kept thinking of her father - the family she'd lost. Everything happened when they lost their mother. 

Their father changed, brought in another woman few weeks later who became a pain in the ass, and so many stupid things happened that led to her leaving the house and going to join the X-family. Her father kicked her out and she had promised him he was never gonna see her face - ever again.

After a long ride, the cab got to hrr destination and she settled the cabby and continued the rest of the way on foot. 

She brought out her face cap, wore It over her head and continued walking - face down. 

She badly wanted to know why Octavia left the house. She knew, of course, something was wrong - very wrong.
