Octavia stopped Immediately, turning back to look at her.
Her eyes were heavy and red.
Sapphire bent her head and wept more, her fingers sinking deep into her ruffled hair.
"I.... I had no idea" she whimpered, her voice cracking feafully.
"I had no idea Khalid was behind it, Octavia. All those while...I thought it was Tabitha".

She could recall the pains in Khalid's eyes when he narrated the story to her the previous day. The pains that'd hurt her terribly.
