“Retard!”

I quickly turned around and saw Lucifer who just stepped outside our classroom.

“Lucifer.”

“Carry my backpack, it’s hurting my shoulders.” He said and was about to throw his bag at me but I stopped him which made him frown even more.

“You have to say please whenever you are asking for someone’s help.” I retorted.

He rolled his eyes and glared at me.

“You’ll carry this or I’ll break your neck?”

I pretended not to hear him and just continue striding along the hallway.

It’s been a month since Lucifer and I became friends. We’re also done taking our punishment. We’re no longer school librarians.
