Chapter 17

Liam’s POV

The borders all looked secure and my warriors were all good for the daylight patrol. There was no sign of the elder Alpha, but I am sure tonight we might see him again, if not beforehand. After taking a shower and grabbing a quick bite to eat I headed out to the training area where I could see a small group already training and I had to wonder if Blaze started their training for me before I got here.

But as I got closer, I realized it wasn’t Blaze that was training our young warriors, but the new she wolf. Deciding to hang back just far enough not to be spotted but close enough to see, I watched as she helped them with their stances and the point to attack. Each of them listened to her and followed through with what she had told them, and they all looked ten times better than they had the day before.
