(author's POV)Clara remained beneath the blankets, looking exhausted.Her face no longer looked pale, and she had stopped shivering uncontrollably but she was nothing like the lively girl she'd been only days ago.The doctor stepped away from her after a few minutes of steady full body inspection, he closed his bag and slowly turned to Helena who had been standing beside the bed the entire time watching every movement."Her condition is stable." Valerie screamed, running all the way downstairs.She reached where he stood and immediately, Vicious opened his arm and pulled her in.Valerie was surprised, she was frozen for a few seconds before finally hugging him back... She had only received hugs from her parents all her life, and now, seeing someone else who isn't even her family so excited to see her this much, her cheeks stretched so wide in happiness."I'm sorry I couldn't visit you last week, my Dad and I were out of town for a family occasion, but I promise you, it was completely against my will."
