The Lies Begin

We got back to our territory, the whole ride was nothing but silence. We walk into the pack house and make our way to our room, I go straight to the bathroom to shower and get ready for bed. I stride out of the bathroom, trying to get to bed in a hurry, I don't have the energy to talk to Justice tonight.

Justice grabs my arm and pulls me towards him " I hope you can forgive me my love, you know it's you I love, you are my mate and Luna."

I laugh sarcastically " Really? You could have fooled me, you looked quite taken by your mate. How far would you have went with her Justice?"

He closed his eyes then whispered in my ear " It was a horrible mistake Rae, I swear it wouldn't have progressed any further. I chose you because I love you, it's just that Omen sensed his fated and took over."

I try to move away from him " You were suppose to reject her Justice, but because you failed and went back on your promise you want to blame Omen? You're pathetic!"

He pulls me closer " It's not like that at all, I know I can't make you understand.But I can show you how much I love you." He whispered as he started to kiss my neck to my shoulders.

I finally broke free from him " Don't think I'm some consolation prize after you got yourself sexually worked up with her. Fuck you Justice!!" I voiced venomously.

I swiftly move away from him leaving the bedroom, I slam the door. I walk down the hall to a guestroom and decide I'm sleeping here. I close the door behind me and lock it, I really don't want to be bothered by him anymore tonight. I unfortunately I hear him coming down the hall after me.

He Knocks on the door " Come on Rae, come back to the room, we've never slept apart even when we argue. What if I can't sleep without you by my side?"

" Well you should have thought about that before you humiliated me Justice, so you know this isn't just another argument. You betrayed my trust by touching another woman and lying to me about rejecting your mate. Just go to bed and leave me the hell alone!" I shouted.

" I guess we can just talk in the morning." he sounded defeated.

I didn't answer him so he went back to our bedroom. I lay in bed while thoughts consume me. I thought our life together would be picture perfect, but it doesn't seem like it's going to be an easy road ahead of us now. Justice Lowe better reject that woman, or he'll lose me,his choice. After what felt like hours I finally drifted off to sleep.

Justice didn't return to their bedroom, he decided to go to his office instead. He sat at his desk drinking whiskey glass after glass, trying to numb his thoughts.There was a knock at his door, he glanced down at his phone, it was 2:15 AM. Who was up at this hour he thought.

" Enter" he called out.

The door opened, " What are you doing in here?" Justin asked. Justin is Justice's twin brother and Beta.

" Just thinking brother, why are you up at this hour?" Justice asked.

" Well I guess I felt your turmoil, you know we can feel each other's emotions. Tell me, what's going on?" he questioned his twin.

" I found my fated mate tonight, I messed up and I don't know what to do." he sounded almost desperate.

" You rejected her like you were suppose to right, that was your promise, also part of your wedding vow." he demanded to know.

" Not quite, I made out with her instead and Rae caught us. She's angry with me and sleeping in one of the guestrooms." he voiced with regret.

" What do you mean you made out with her? You dared to do that to Rae? Tell me was it worth it? Rae's a treasure Justice, you don't throw away diamonds for rocks. You're lucky she didn't leave you when she found you. You better reject your fated and do right by Rae, I mean it brother." Justin stated firmly.

" Of course you wouldn't understand the pull of the bond, you haven't found your mate yet. It's not the easiest thing to ignore or to reject. It was just the bond damn it, I love Raven and only Raven!" Justice hissed.

" Yeah well love would have kept your ass by your wife's side, love would have made you reject your mate, love would not purposely hurt Raven. But, you went off made out with this woman, you didn't reject her, and you hurt your wife. So explain to me where was this love you have for Rae tonight, because it wasn't present." Justin spat out in anger.

" Sounds like someone still has a crush on my wife." he retorted.

" Good job, trying to throw shade at someone else so your sins don't look so bad. Listen I did what I was told, I broke up with Rae after sophomore year because Dad told me to. She was meant to be a Luna, she was trained and you were going to be the Alpha you two belonged together, I stepped out of your way. I was happy for the both you and you know that. I'm also very happy with my fiance Natasha, so don't try to paint me the villain. You're the one who made mistakes tonight." Justin yelled in frustration.

" I'm sorry, I was out of line Justin. I'm angry at myself and I tried to pull you down with me. I shouldn't have said that." he lowered his head.

" Put the bottle away and get some sleep, you messed up yes, but it's not irreversible. You'll talk to Rae in the morning, you have a lot to make up to her. You know she's not unreasonable, she's angry and hurt, but she will forgive you eventually." Justin said with encouragement.

Justice nodded and walked out his office with his brother. He knows he has to get some rest, because he has a lot to make up to his wife in the morning.
