Spiraling Out of Control

It's been two weeks since that woman moved in, Justice and I have been at odds ever since. All we do is argue about her, about her presence in our lives, but my complaints fall on deaf ears. He won't budge, he won't listen to me when I tell him she's pure evil. No it's not jealousy consuming me, it's fear, I don't trust her or her intentions. She turns me into the villain every chance she gets, she accuses me of assaulting her verbally and physically, alright I probably do insult her often, but I've never slapped or pushed that evil bitch. But somehow she ends up with bruises and hand marks on her, I think she needs a psychiatrist, because she's harming herself to gain my husband's favor. While I sit and stare at my reflection in the vanity mirror my phone rings. I pick it up and see it's Miranda calling.

" Hello Randa." I answer.

" Rae darling, how you holding up?" she asked softly.

" Everything in my life is spiraling out of control, and I can't stop it. I try, but it's useless, nothing's going my way. How are things between you and Gregory?" I asked knowing she's going through the same thing.

" Same old song and dance darling, I'm doing no better than you, hell things maybe worse here. Has Justice crossed that line yet, has he cheated on you with that skank?" she asked angrily.

" No not yet, yet being the key word. I'm so afraid he will, he's with her more than me. I'm wondering why I'm still here, is my marriage even worth saving at this point?" I sighed sadly.

" Where you going to go Rae, werewolf laws are made to protect the Alpha, not us not the Luna's. We're made to suffer through all the shenanigans, we can't walk away dignified, the laws state after we're marked, mated, and married we belong to our husbands. The council never annuls marriages, we're just left to suffer." she spat out.

" I know Randa, but I'm just tired of being afraid and grief stricken." I responded.

" Well let's have a girls night you, me, and Samara, you already know she's going through it with Duncan. Who says we can't at least try to have some fun, we shouldn't just sit and be depressed." she offered.

" Sounds like fun girl, let's do it. I'll pick you all up tonight around seven, we'll have dinner, then maybe some clubbing?" I suggested.

" Love the plan, see you later this evening." she chuckled.

" See you later Randa." I hung up and was actually looking forward to having some fun.

In the Alpha's office Justice and Justin were in a heated argument.

" My personal life does not concern you Justin, quit trying to interfere, know your role. You're my brother and my Beta, that's it you're not my father or the Moon Goddess, keep your opinions to yourself." Justice yelled veins bulging on his forehead.

" It's my job to keep you in line brother, if you haven't noticed you're completely out of line. You couldn't believe Gregory and Duncan would humiliate their mates, and here you are doing the same exact fucking thing. In the past two weeks have you even considered Rae's feelings or what you're doing to her. You're abusing her mentally and you're too damn blind to see it. Open up your eyes Justice before you lose the best damn thing in your life." Justin shouted back.

" Rae's not going anywhere, I haven't done anything to be ashamed of, I haven't cheated on her. What am I suppose to do throw Rose out with no where to go, no one to depend on? What kind of man would that make me? I'm doing the right thing." he argued.

" No the right thing would be to reject her and move her out of your house Justice. Get her out of here, you may not have stuck your dick in her yet, but you sure are parading her around the pack like she's some kind of prize. Trust me she's no prize, you already won that lottery but you're squandering it away." he gritted his teeth and walked out of the office slamming that door shut.

I was walking towards Justice's office and ran into Justin.

" Rae what are you up to today?" Justin inquired.

" Going to tell Justice that I'm going out tonight with Miranda and Samara. Why don't you and Natasha tag along." I invited him.

" Sounds like a good time, Nat and I haven't actually had a night out in awhile. Thanks for inviting us." he smiled.

" Meet me in the living room around six thirty, I told Randa I'd be at her place by seven." I replied.

" See you then Rae." he nodded and went on his way.

I walked into Justice's office, Rose was there sitting on his desk in front of him. I saw red, but I wouldn't give her the pleasure knowing she's getting to me.

I cleared my throat " I will be going out later with Miranda, Samara, Justin, and Natasha. I thought I would let you know."

" I could come along, it's been some time since we all got together." Justice tried to invite himself.

" Oh that sounds like fun, I'd like to go if you're going." Rose said looking at Justice.

I scoffed looking at her like she lost her mind " Well Justice isn't going and neither are you!"

" Why can't I go Rae? You haven't talked to me in two weeks." he pleaded.

" Take care of the pest problem we have in our home, then I'll talk to you." I said bitterly walking out of his office.

The day flew by and it was time for me to get ready. I opted to wear a tight fitting mini dress, it's a sultry red, no sleeves, and a plunging neck line, it hugs my curves perfectly. I applied smokey eye makeup and red lipstick to match my dress, I leave my hair down loving how nice my spiral curls look. I give myself a big smile, I look hot, I put on black leather knee high boots and make way to the living room. I see Rose sitting in one of the recliners and I roll my eyes internally.

" Well well aren't we dressed like a slut." she started with her insults.

" Well at least I'm only dressed like a slut, but some of us are sluts." I shot back at her.

" I can't wait to squash you like vermin Raven, soon you'll be nothing but a memory here, and I'll be Luna." she threatened me.

I placed my fingers on my neck" Who has the Alpha's mark, that would be me, I'm the Luna. What does that make you mistress, concubine, or a pain in my ass, which title do you prefer." I said letting her know her place.

" Fuck you Raven you callous bitch." she screeched.

" Whoa Rose you don't speak to the Luna like that, you should be punished, know your place." Justin stated walking in the room with Natasha on his arm.

" What's going on now?" Justice demanded walking downstairs.

" Rose's blatant disrespect towards the Luna." Justin answered.

" Justin I'm sure it wasn't as bad as you're making things out to be. You're loyal to Raven not only as the Beta, but also as her friend and brother-in-law."

Justice stated like his brother was over exaggerating.

" I picked out movies to watch Justice, maybe the staff can make up some snacks for us." Rose beamed up at him.

" I'm sure they can." he smiled at her.

Rolling my eyes " Let's go, we have to get Randa and Sam." The three of us walked out of the room and went straight to the car waiting for us.
