The night I die

The five of us enjoyed dinner, good food, light conversation, and much needed laughter. After we ate we went to one of the newest night clubs called The Blue Moon,it was lavish and seemed to cater to the upper class wolves. We were given the VIP treatment and taken to the second floor, we ordered our drinks getting ready to unwind. Liquid gold was overflowing and we were drinking it up as fast as it was served.

" Who wants to dance?" Randa gave a mischievous smirk.

" Me!" shouting in unison.

We strutted onto the dancefloor, and let loose, the DJ was playing bangers from the eighties to the present. I haven't had this much fun in ages.

Back at the pack house Justice and Rose were sitting on the couch finishing a movie.

Rose leaned in to kiss him " No Rose, I'm a mated man, I can't do this." Justice told her.

Rose cupped his face in her hands, her eyes turning violet " You know you want me Justice, I'm your mate."

Justice nodded " I do want you, I want you now!" he leaned down and started kissing her like his life depended on it.

Rose kissed him back hungrily she pulled away from him " Let me take care of you mate." she smiled as she unfastened his pants, pulling out his hard throbbing manhood, she started stroking it seducing him more. She got down on her knees and licked the tip, she licked down his shaft, then licked and sucked his balls. Justice moaning as his body shuddered, she smiled seductively looking into his eyes, taking in his length into her mouth, sucking and licking it like a woman on a mission. Justice wrapped his hands in her hair moving his hips keeping pace with the rhythm of her bobbing head. Holding the back of her head "Rose oh Goddess yes!" he cried out as his release shot down her throat.

Sitting back wiping her mouth with the back of her hand " We should go to my bedroom and finish what I started."

Fastening his pants Justice stands and takes her hand " Lead the way love."

Pouring our last drinks at the bar, I started to feel hot, nauseous, with a sharp burning in my chest. I tried to stand but my legs felt as though they would give out on me.

" Rae are you alright?" Justin asked worried.

" No I'm feeling sick, I have such a burning pain in my chest, I need air." I pant out. Looking at my friends I notice Miranda and Samara giving each other a knowing look.

" Do you need some water to take outside with you, Natasha do you have anything in your purse for an upset stomach, heartburn, anything like that?" Justin questioned.

" No babe we're wolves we don't need such things." she answered apologetically.

Miranda sighed in frustration " The pain will go away, as soon as he's done."

" When who's done, what are you talking about Randa?" Justice asked confused.

" When Justice is done fucking that skank!!" she spewed with hatred, " I know this pain, so does Samara."

" That mother fucker, I'm going pummel him!!" Justin raged.

" Everyone stop, we have to get her out of here, she's falling apart." Natasha advised them with tears in her eyes.

My friends helped me outside, I sat down on a bench on the side of the building. I wasn't ready to go home, not when my husband, my mate was there making love to another woman. I didn't speak I just let out all the heartbreak and turmoil, uncontrollable tears falling from my eyes. Natasha sat to the right of me hugging me,crying with me, she is an empath so she can literally feel my pain. Randa was sitting to my left hugging me, Samara standing behind me her forehead touching the top of my head, both of my friends are no strangers to what I'm feeling. Justin kneeling in front of me head down holding my hands, offering apologies embarrassed by his brothers actions. I couldn't utter a word, I just sat there enveloped in the warmth and love of my friends.

One month has passed since that dreadful night at the club. Justice and I don't speak unless it's necessary, he moved me into the Luna suite, and his mate/mistress shares his bedroom. I don't care anymore really, I've fallen out of love with him, but I'm still shackled to him because of outdated werewolf laws. This evening Justice is throwing Rose a birthday party, I'm here I have no choice but to attend as Luna of the pack. I walk around the reception hall looking for Randa, I heard that she had already arrived. I see her standing to the side by herself, looks like Gregory just left her there while he prances his mate around.

I walk up to her " Hey Randa, I'm so happy you're here."

" Well I had to come and see my girl, and look at you looking one hundred percent better than the birthday skank." she laughed and gave me a side hug. We just stood there watching the party and drinking my personal favorite dandelion wine. We see Samara stalking towards us.

" Aw look Ho Ho Ho" as she pointed to our husbands mates, " I thought it was a birthday party,not a Christmas party." we all three laughed.

" Don't you find it peculiar that their names are Rose, Daisy, and Iris? Like all three of them are named after flowers, strange coincidence." I said observing the three women.

" I guess I never really thought about it " Samara shrugged.

" It is strange now that you mentioned it." Miranda added.

I felt someone tap me on my shoulder I turn around and I see Beta Marcus looking guilty.

" I'm sorry Luna." he breathed out.

" Which part of all of this are you sorry for?" I asked arching my eyebrow in curiosity.

" Everything." he blurted out and scurried off.

I excused myself and followed him into the house, but I didn't see him.Walking through the kitchen I was stopped by a server.

" Last glass of dandelion wine Luna, I saved it just for you." she smiled sweetly.

She went back outside and I gulped down the wine. I started to feel dizzy, and my veins felt like they were pumping fire.My breathing was becoming laboured and I fell to my knees. I felt a presence in the kitchen with me, lifting my head slightly I saw Rose bending down to look at me.

" I see you already drank your special wine." she said sadistically. But, I couldn't answer her, I couldn't speak, I could feel the froth coming out of my mouth.

" I told you I would squash you, but you didn't believe me. I need you gone, so I poisoned you. You see I'm pregnant to your husband and my child couldn't be the rightful heir if you're still alive and Luna, so I secured his future. There's much more at play than a baby, but you won't be here to see it all pan out anyway. Oh also before you go you should know , I'm not his fated mate, fuck I'm not even a wolf. But that's a secret you'll be taking to your grave." she laughed like a maniac.

I lay there and see her looking down at me with an evil smile, and glowing purple eyes. She's the last thing I see as I take my last breath and the darkness swallows me.
