I wanted to buy myself something nice for my date with Adrian, so I went shopping. I went to the mall by myself since Betty wasn't my best friend anymore. It made me sad to think about all the good times we had, hanging out and being silly. Her betrayal felt like a stab in the heart.

Nevertheless, I was determined to impress Adrian, so I bought a beautiful dress.

It was a pink midi dress with white-laced sleeves. Very feminine. I tried the dress on and twirled in front of the mirror. The dress fit me perfectly, hugging my waist and curves. A satisfied smile painted my face as I was sure Adrian would like the way I'd look in it.

While I was shopping, my mind wandered. I tried to remember what had happened on my mom's birthday in my previous life.

Nothing significant came to my mind. Maybe it was time to make some brand new memories that day and change my future!
