Chapter 5

Kate finished making dinner, it's time for her to go back to her room, Raya is already sitting in front of the TV, Raya calls Kate to sit with her.

"Have you made dinner yet?" Raya said.

"Yeah, I just finished," Kate said.

"What do you want to eat tonight? Let me make it, you must be tired all day," Raya said.

"Ah let me make it, cooking is my hobby so I enjoy doing it" Kate said.

"Are you sure?" Raya said and Kate nodded, she headed to the small kitchen there, opened the refrigerator to see the ingredients and took some ingredients for their dinner.

"If you need anything just call me" Raya said and Kate just nodded.

It didn't take long for Kate to make dinner for them, Kate called Raya because dinner was ready and they ate together, that day they would spend the night in the basement, they couldn't get out of there anymore because Matthew was already at home, they just may go to the kitchen to wash their employer's dirty dishes after which they must return to the basement.

It was 9 pm, Kate went upstairs with Raya to clean the dishes and the kitchen so they could go straight to work tomorrow morning. Kate heard a man's voice talking to Nicole, she was sure it was her Alpha. The kitchen was in a closed area so, she couldn't see straight into the living room and other areas. Nicole also forbade them to clean her room, that area was forbidden because the maids could smell Matthew's scent and leave their own scent there.

After washing the dishes, Kate and Raya returned to their room, Kate entered her room as well as Raya. Their rooms are next to each other, and there is a bathroom in each room. The rooms are not big, but enough for themselves. Lying on the bed made Kate remember her mother, had she eaten or had she slept, she thought about it then. But he had to strengthen herself so she could take her mother to the hospital and provide maximum treatment for her mother's recovery.

Nearly two weeks Kate was there, nothing was difficult when she worked, she liked the job because it was something she usually did at home. It was Saturday, Matt was at home like a normal weekend. He came to the table when Nicole called him for breakfast, on weekends, Nicole usually made breakfast.

"How does it feel?" Nicole said.

"Did you learn to make Japchae?" he said.

"Yeah, you said you liked it," Nicole said.

"Yeah, this is delicious," Matt said, but his face didn't look the same.

"Are you serious? Do you prefer Japchae made by our maid?" Nicole said.

"Babe--"

"It's okay Matt I was going to tell Kate to make one for you I'd rather you be honest, I just wanted to try it" Nicole said and Matt tapped his thigh to get her to sit on his lap.

"I'm sorry baby, your cooking is always good, but when it comes to Korean food, our maids is better" Matt said and Nicole just chuckled.

"I know, Kate's cooking is amazing, I admit that, so you don't need to feel bad telling me," Nicole said.

"Yeah, you're right, your choice is the best, where are you going today? We can go to the mall for shopping or--"

"That's a great idea, I wanted to get some stuff and clothes for Kate and Raya, we haven't shopped them in a while" Nicole said.

"Yeah, you can give them anything, clothes or whatever, and how about her mom? I forgot to ask you, you said you guys went to the hospital last week," Matt said.

"Ah yes I also forgot to tell you, her mother is already in the hospital, her cancer is still in stage two but still she needs extra attention and being in the hospital will make her much better," Nicole said.

"Yeah you're right, give her mom all the best, I really want to visit her but I know I can't so give her my regards" Matt said.

"Of course, now stop eating your Japchae, I'll make something else" Nicole said, she got up from Matt's lap and pecked his lips before going to the kitchen.

Nicole called out to Kate while she was in the kitchen and Kate came over to her.

"Is there anything I can help ma'am?" Kate said.

"Matt really likes your Japchae, can you make some for dinner tonight?" Nicole said.

"Of course ma'am, then what would you like to have for lunch?" Kate said.

"Me and Matt are going shopping so we'll be back before dinner, make sure you have it ready before dinner" Nicole said.

"Okay ma'am" Kate says and she goes back to her room.

Nicole and Matt went to one of the biggest mall in Seoul. They had a look at some of the clothing stores, they did spend a lot on their maids, there really was no limit to that.

"Matt, look, is this shirt any good?" Nicole said.

"Yes, but is there any other color besides blue?" he said.

"But I think Kate would suit blue," Nicole said.

"What about red?" Matt took the same shirt in a different color.

"Look, this color is good, but this is your choice, your choice is the best," Matt said and Nicole saw the two shirts, she was confused about which one to choose, finally she took both of them, she will give them to Raya and Kate.

Not only clothes, but Nicole and Matt also buy necessities in their room, starting from kitchen, bathroom and other needs.

"Ah I'm so tired," Nicole said, after going around the mall to shop, Nicole finally sat down in her car too.

"Put your seat belt on first," Matt buckled Nicole, kissing her on the lips before fastening his own.

"Thanks Matt, you always do whatever I want" Nicole said.

"With pleasure my love, so now we go home right?" he said.

"Yes, they must have prepared your favorite dinner," Nicole said.

"What's that?" he said.

"Korean food, I asked Kate to make some for you" Nicole said.

"Thank you baby," Matt kissed his mate again tenderly before leaving.
