Vanessa's POV The trees sang a dirge the moment I gave birth to twins. The wind seemed to pat my face. I lost energy and laid on the ground like a dead body. The pack were shocked. Alpha Ray bolted forward. His jaw dropped and his mouth widened in awe. “What are you still doing there? Get the physician right away!” He barked at the soldiers watching with shock. My clothes were soaked with blood and Alpha Ray came down to my level, trying to lift my head. “You weren't lying after all.” He murmured, looking at my tired face.
