The party was going to be a boring one, I could tell. Teen werewolves, students all seemed to be partying in the back yard where there was a live band, drinking for those over 18, some were even shacking in a corner, eww.

The adults in the front yard, omegas, teachers and workers especially. The other important guests were inside, alphas, betas, and the rest. And Aiden, the main guest, inside, having his 'first" drink with his father whose smile were as wide as my insecurities. I had never seen him this happy. He must be really happy his son was finally becoming an adult and would soon take over the pack, or his son would find his mate soon and his strength would increase triple-fold, making him expectantly one of the most powerful Alpha ColdTown has ever had. That was the moon goddess prophecy for Aiden. He would lead this pack like no ever alpha had and his legacy would go on for years. But he needed his Luna to achieve that much.

We all couldn't wait. All members of ColdTown had been impatient as expectant for Aiden to find his mate and fulfill his prophecy. No alpha was complete without a Luna, and so was Aiden. With his Luna by his side, he would be able to achieve everything he's been prophesied to achieve.

"Hey Princess!" I heard the voice I hadn't heard in days. I turned slowly, and so did Ryan.

Lauren approached us with a smile on her face. She looked undoubtedly astonishing in that white ball gown. White? Why was she wearing white? Oh yeah, the alpha prince would be getting his mate today and she was expected to be his mate. In fact, I could bet that every werewolf in here was hoping it was her. A strong Luna was just perfect for Aiden to maximize his strength and with Laura beside him, he could achieve everything. A weak mate like me would just complicate everything.

"H..hi" I cleared my throat. I wasn't scared of her, but I sure as hell was intimidated by her.

"Where's your bestie? I haven't seen him all day. Gosh, I miss him, it's been almost a week since I've seen him, and I can't see him next week too, you know,I'm still suspended " She laughed

"But you never know. If things go well, as it should. I could end up being his mate and that way we would never be separated from each other" She said, with the biggest smile ever.

I faked a smile. "He just went in" I simply said.

"Good" She said, popping a gum and half-turned before turning back to me.

"You don't have to worry Arielle. I do like you, you're slow and weak, no match for me, which is perfect cause I don't see you as a competition and that's why I like you" She laughed out again, and it irked me. I smiled lightly with a nod.

"So, you don't have to worry, when he becomes my mate, I'll allow you to meet and see him as much as you want. You two can still be the best of friends" She said and smiled.

"Yeah, thanks" I simply said with a nod. She smiled. "I like you" She said, and then walked away. My face twisted in disgust as I turned back, Ryan did too.

"She's so annoying and fake" I muttered and Ryan chuckled. I'm glad things aren't that awkward between us any more. It still is, but better.

It's 11pm now, the party would go on overnight, some had left already but the majority were still partying, drinking and all.

Ryan had forced me into the main hall where everything was all rosy, like the party had started. The important guests had been led to the vip, upstairs where they were watching everything go on, and everyone else was downstairs, partying and sharing a drink with Aiden while giving gifts. Games were also being played, one which I made sure to avoid, I used the excuse of being sick whenever I was asked to come play.

I can't afford getting pushed into a game of truth or dare or never have I ever where someone would happen to ask me who my crush was and I would say it in front of the world that I had a crush on the alpha prince who would soon find his mate - tonight. That would be the worst thing to ever happen to anyone. And I wouldn't even wish it in my worst enemy. I was now sitting alone, sipping on a juice Ryan had dropped for me before going to join one of the drinking games tonight.

His mate wasn't here for some reason. Or she was, but I was yet to meet her.

One of the school playboys suddenly got on top of the table, he happened to be the MC for today. Crazy, right? He has actually requested from the alpha himself, and since Damien was pretty popular and funny, and would tend well to the younger audience, he accepted.

"Alright everyone!" He said, holding the mic, and screaming into it. Everyone groaned at the sudden intrusion.

"Apologies" He said, with a laugh. He was drunk already.

"Alright, so it's 11pm right now, and as we all know. Our alpha prince here.." He said, pointing at Aiden and the light fell on him immediately and everyone cheered.

"Aiden!.." He started again and the light was back to him again.

"Aiden, would be meeting his mate here tonight!!!" He screamed and the whole hall echoed immediately with screams. I looked up and the adults also had smiles on their face, Alpha Caden especially, practically grinning ear to ear.

"And.." Damien continued.

"And.. one of our princesses here tonight could be the one!!" He said, everyone screamed again..I glanced at the girls who were practically grinning and smiling, some blushing and adjusting their dresses. They all wanted to be Aiden's Luna.

Of course, who wouldn't?

"But.. we all know here for every cold town werewolf blood, you meet your mate in your sleep! Are we all aware of that??" He asked and everyone screamed "yes"

"So, now. Alpha Prince Aiden has to go to sleep and dream for as long as he can and we shall all be here waiting, right?!!" He screamed into the mic and the whole hall echoed with screams.

"We shall all wait, won't we?!!" He asked again!

"We will!!" Everyone screamed.

"No matter how long it takes?"

"No matter how long it takes!!!!" Everyone yelled in excitement.
