The dungeon’s heavy gate was already visible when Keith suddenly remembered something.
“The tattooed warriors also came. They should be waiting.”
Wulfric just raised his eyebrow at Keith. The situation in the Kingdom may really be serious. The magnitude of the attack was small but how it was executed was very sophisticated. This means a lot more is at stake.
“They sneaked in the dungeon right before you arrived. The chieftain posted warriors at the gate. He is waiting for you to start questioning Ember.”
Keith shuddered as he recalls goosebumps on his arms watching the mystic warriors appear one after the other in this darkened underground. Though they are known to be the protectors of the land, he cannot help the cold feeling that creeps on his back whenever he meets one.
