Arystyn Sharp slowly opened her eyes. She didn't recognize her surroundings and was confused by the stiffness in her limbs. What had happened? Where was she? Was she still in Jonesboro or even in the state of Arkansas? The last thing she could recall was going to check on her best friend Julianne standing in the hallway when she was attacked? Where was Julianne? Had someone hurt her too? She had to get up and figure out what was going on but mostly she needed to save Julianne! Arystyn slowly stood up on shaky legs and fell back down on her knees. She was so weak! She needed food. As she looked around the room she realized she was in a basement-type apartment. The room was set up with a bedroom section containing a full-sized bed and a nightstand with clothes hanging on a portable clothing rack. A small bathroom and a kitchen area with a small cook stove a fridge sink and a table. Arystyn pulled herself over until she reached the fridge and opened it. inside all she saw was raw meat.

Arystyn walked up to the bar to order a pineapple upside-down cake shot to cool her off a bit and noticed that Julianne was no longer on the dance floor. Arystyn could not believe that they had found Julianne so quickly! She wanted to run in and wrap her arms around Jules and show her that she was alive but Alex said she couldn't show herself until she learned to control when she shifted. Now she knew Jules was ok she could do anything she had to to keep her safe. For the next 2 days, Alex worked with Arystyn to help her learn self-control in preparation for the upcoming full moon transformation.
