Catherine pov.

After I made a deliberate effort to calm myself, I realized I had transcended my own physical being, inhabiting a foreign vessel. I glanced back at the man who had observed me, and suddenly, it all became clear why they referred to me as Lora.

In an attempt to dispel any lingering doubts or illusions, I cautiously rose to my feet and took a step forward, only to find myself on the brink of stumbling once again, saved from the fall by the man's intervention.
