ARIELLA’s POV.

My door pushes open and Edwin steps in. He is my beta and one of the strongest wolves in the pack. When I became alpha of the pack and a war broke out, he was the one who made sure I was safe when the powers were conflicting in my body. A female wolf has never been raised in our clan so it was like a taboo when I emerged. I still remember how I held my father’s heart in my hand on the day I became alpha and how my mother wailed like I had done something wrong. The memory still hunts me and it’s something I never want to forget in my life. It is my driving force, the thought that has kept me going for the years which I have been the alpha of our pack.
