Taran's POV
"Hello to you too, Cerise." I stood up from the water, shaking the water off my hair, facing Kirsch's angry face.
I was recognized as the Alpha by the pack bond when I first shifted at 15, and Kirsch had been my beta ever since. He was only 12 back then, but he had the strongest soul power in the whole pack other than mine.
He was my only beta.
He shifted early than most members of our pack. He shifted when he was only 12, on the same new moon night when Crebreus went on a rampage.
"Don't call me that!" Kirsch shouted with his ears red.
"Why are you so mean to me? You used to be so cute." I teased, laughing as I watched his face turning from red to scarlet.
"You call me that just to annoy me!" Kirsch rolled his eyes, glaring at me.
Uptight. He was always so uptight. Not fun. I think he just grew up at 12 overnight, and had been this straight face strict man ever since.
"I just came here for a bath."
