10. Finding the truth

A FEW HOURS LATER

Faith somehow managed to slip into that awfully revealing dress and started working on the third floor as she was instructed.

She fed Echo well after requesting the head maid and then locked the little girl in that room. Echo was used to it now. She was a good girl. She wasn't going to create trouble.

She didn't see Kendrick or his parents yet and she was thankful to her stars more than ever. She focused on the work in hand. Someone from a glass frame of a big wall painting. She was instructed to clean all the glasses before everyone woke up from sleep and start walking from that path.
