Aurora’s POV

The air was thick with the lingering scent of him.

Even though I had disappeared into the shadows, I still felt his presence, like an imprint burned into my skin. I could still feel his possessive hold on my skin, as if he were here with me. My lips tingle from his kiss, my body betraying me despite the fear coursing through my veins.

I was in the middle of a forest, alone. The fear of coming face to face with the mysterious dangerous people again made me move my legs despite being tired.
