“ It's better to be something important,” I said as I walked around the oak table before sitting down.

“ Our men found something in Miss Ava's house,” he said.

“ What is it?” I asked, raising my one eyebrow.

“ It's a jewellery box but no one has been able to open it,” he said.

“ Ava's name was written on the side of the box with something else,” he added. I waited for him to continue as he looked nervous. I tapped my fingers impatiently on the table.

“ Susan was written on the other side of the box,” he whispered. I felt like I was frozen in my spot hearing his words.

“ Impossible,” I breathed out. It can't be true. No, it is impossible. Everyone in the supernatural world knows that they were killed and a large number of people witnessed their death as well.

“ She is a human, Gideon,” my Lycan zender said.

“ But the box,” I replied.

“ Where is the box now?” I asked. If anyone with a bad intention finds out they will miss use whatever was lying inside of that box.
