Chapter 10: Promise

Katerina covered her mouth with her hand as she looked around. Lamps were lined up around the picnic blanket and there on the other side stood the smiling Achilles. Katerina slowly walked towards his direction without breaking their eye contact.

'Oh my God!' her mind exclaimed.

Is this his surprise? She never expected that Achilles also has romantic bones inside. The more Achilles did sweet stuff to her made her drown in him even more.

"Flowers for my very beautiful woman," Achilles said and handed her the red bouquet of roses.

"D—did you prepare all of this?" Stuttering, she asked in a hoarse voice and looked around again. She saw a basket that probably contained their food.

A simple picnic yet it felt so romantic.

Achilles scratches his cheek like a shy child. "Uh…yes, is it not nice?"
