“What is it that you’re not telling me, Dad?” a young man furiously asked his father. The old man ignored his son’s question and head to his private library.

“Dad!” the man called as he went after him to the enclosed space.  “You shouldn’t ignore me, dad.” He slammed the door behind him.

“I need you to tell me why you aren’t in support of my decision.” He said. The older man raised his head to cast a quick glance on his son. 

“No reason in particular.” He shrugged slightly. 

“But dad…” the young man tried to argue but his father stopped him with a raise of his hand.

“No buts, Mike. You won’t marry her and that’s final.” He strictly told him. “C’mon, that girl doesn’t even know who she is or where she is from. She could be dangerous.” 

“But she isn’t.” Mike countered.

“No excuse, Mike. You will not marry her.” 

“This is the last time I’d ask for your permission concerning this issue, dad.”
