Chapter 32

Melanie's POV

I smiled when I read Suzy's message.  "Let's have a duet" it reads. Wow, what was she thinking? Why would she want me to sing with her? I asked myself series of questions. Well, it won't hurt to try. I glanced at my wristwatch and realized it's almost 1:00pm. I groaned as I stood up from the bed. I was about to leave my room when the door opened and Steve surfaced. 

"I thought you were never gonna welcome me" I folded my arms across my chest with a smirk. He walked over and pulled me into his arms. I sniffed in his cologne which had a strawberry scent and I smiled. His taste hasn't changed. Since he was a child, he loved strawberry flavoured perfumes. I freed myself from his grip. 

"I think it's high time we changed that tradition of me being the first to greet you whenever I come for a stay over" I toldhum and he chuckled.
