Steve's POV
"What is?" I asked as I tucked my hand into my pocket. "Your girlfriend's life!" I squinted my eyes when I heard that. What about Melanie? And how did a stranger get to know about her state?"What do you mean?" I summoned the courage to ask.
"It isn't a secret that your friend - oops sorry! I mean your girlfriend." The person chuckled with a hint of mockery in his tone. "What exactly do you wanna say?"
