Chapter 66

Megan's POV

I stood at the centre of the city with Steve, Sage and his captives. Sage's eyes never left mine while he waited patiently for me to make my decision. 

Something kept telling me not to surrender. It kept trying to make me see enough reasons, as to why I needed not go surrender. 

One reason that kept on hammering was the fact that Sage could actually make me surrender and still not release his captives. 

One of the many reasons that left me strong-headed was how Sage was my culprit, who I needed to bring to book. If I surrender to him without fighting back, all our efforts from the onset would be a total waste of time and manpower. 

"You're taking much time to decide, Megan." He complained. 

One thing about him that I've noticed is he always call my name, at any slight opportunity he gets. 

I ignored him and turned to Steve.
