CHAPTER 6: Am I Ugly?

Kieran rushed to the guest room holding his heart so dear and then bringing out his pills to take them and when he discovered it was empty.

“No, no, this is not happening, why will you be finished?” He complained trying to catch his breath, he remembered the naked girl in his room when he thought of returning to the room to get it.

“After I get rid of her, I will make sure I sack the person who opened the gate and let her into my room.”

Nora wondered what the hell was wrong with him, she decided to put some clothes on going out of the room to look for him, ”Is it possible he left the house this night because of me or he is in one of the rooms?” She walked to the guest rooms and he was not in there but when she tried the last guest room, it was locked, and then she knew he was in there.

“Kieran, I am sorry if I must have scared you earlier, I mean no harm, and you can open.” She said politely.

“Who are you? How did you get in?” He replied feeling so tense?

“Open up and I will tell you okay? We are adults and we should be talking eyeball to eyeball.”

“Leave my house now, I do not care to know you.” He yelled but he ended up having more pains in his chest.

“Are you okay in there? open up now.” She heard him groan in pain and kept on hitting the door very hard without stopping,” Are you dying there? Please do not die the first night I am joining you in your home, people might get the wrong impression you know?” He fainted and she heard the loud sound.

“Oh no,” Nora added thinking of what to do to open the door when she thought of a spare key, immediately she rushed back to Kieran's room to get her cell phone to call his mother.

“Hello Nora, I guess you two must have met?” Kieran's mother inquired and she lied saying, “Yes we have ma’am but the problem presently is that he locked up himself in a guest room, I wanted to ask If you know where he keeps his spare keys to all rooms in the house?”

“Sure I know where he keeps them and I will be glad to tell you where he keeps them.” She added with a smile.

Nora rushed to get the spare keys to open the room Kieran was presently in and she placed both hands on her mouth seeing him on the floor with his eyes closed.

“Good heavens, please be okay.” She muttered before going down to tap him but he didn’t respond. In seconds his eyes were open and she staggered,” You scared the life out of me.”

Kieran had no choice but to request a favor from her,” My pills are on my table in my room, the white cup, get it for me.”

“Okay, just remain awake, I will do it for you okay? Do not make me scared again okay?” She returned to his room to get the medicine and also took a bottle of water from the fridge with a glass cup, he sat down with his back being supported by the wall looking at her as she brought the tablet out, pouring water inside the cup and giving them to him to swallow up the medicine which he did and he felt a little better.

“I guess this is where you say thank you for saving my life, right?” She asked, smiling widely

“Hey, stop smiling, you look irritating doing that you know.” He added which made Nora angry but she had to control her temper.

“I am sorry, I will not smile again, my name is Nora and I know your name already but it will be nice If you do not ruin the conversation, so also give your introduction.” She requested politely.

“I am not having this conversation with you okay? I will let you pass the night in any of the guest rooms, by tomorrow be gone okay?” He added being so serious and walking out of the guest room.

“I am going to kill him for doing this to me, not even a thank you for saving his life. Truly most rich heirs are so arrogant and filled with pride. I would have left tonight but I must finish what I started, I signed the contract and I must be his girlfriend no matter what.” She said to herself walking out aggressively to his room she saw him just on a towel and she could not take her eyes off his chest.

“He is damn hot.” She said mentally.

“What are you doing here?” He said in a trembling voice trying to cover his body but she assumed to herself, “What if I just seduce him right now and he will not be able to resist? I know I still have the fire in me.” She took the step to get closer to him and he was shaking with fear which she finds weird at the moment.

“I told you to sleep in another room, don’t come any closer to me.” He said having no authority in his voice and she just laughed over it getting closer to him and then he recognized her fully.

“Why? What is wrong with sharing the same bed with you? We are both adults, remember? Don’t spoil the fun okay? I know you want it so badly?”

“I do not know what you are saying, you are making me feel so uneasy here right now, can you please just leave already, this is my room and you are disturbing my privacy .”

“Am I that ugly that you won’t even fall for me with my charms? What is it about you, Kieran? Oh come on and stop acting okay, let’s do this.”

He was sweating all over seeing her making her move to get closer, he ran into his bathroom and turned the shower on.

“Is she a mad person or what? Why can’t she stay away and I am just a fool, I could not even yell at her instead I was speaking like a lady.” He said to himself scrubbing his body and then the kiss he had with her played in his head, ”Why will she kiss me on set and come back to my home disturbing my peace? No way I am thinking about this kiss.” He hits his head.

Nora found it embarrassing for him to run away from her the second time, she looked at the mirror asking herself lots of questions and one of them was.”Am I ugly that he can’t stand it or what?”

She felt tired and dizzy, she needed to rest for the night before thinking of ways to get him to herself as his mother will want. She climbs to his bed covering herself with the blanket as she dozes off without waiting to see him coming out of the bathroom to wish him good night.

Kieran finished having his bath and assumed Nora would be gone by now to the guest room, he opened the door slowly with a peep and saw no sign of her, he had a deep relief coming out fully then seeing her on the bed, he almost developed a heart attack.

“How dare she sleep on my bed using my very own blanket? What kind of crazy girl is she? Should I just drag her out of here? No, no, I am not touching a lady, that can’t happen. I will let her sleep as a means to repay her for saving my life earlier though she is the one who caused it at first.”

He wore his pajamas and took some blankets and took them to another room in the house to pass the night. He is scared to sleep close to her and it is very impossible to share the bed with her.

“I still can’t believe I left my room to some random girl, by morning, she must be gone by all means.” He added dozing off gradually.

He dreamt about the kiss he had with her and was smiling with her in his dream, he opened his eyes and thought he was still dreaming, he saw Nora holding him, he was about to lift his hands to caress her hair when she opened her eyes saying, ”Good morning Kieran, I hope you slept well?”

Instantly he tried to push her off him and got off the bed in a hurry, she went after him trying to touch him, and he pushed her and she ended up hitting her head so hard on the bed stand and landed on the ground unconscious.

“No, she can’t be dead, I didn't mean to push her, I can’t touch her, what will I do?”
