Chapter Fifteen: Power of the Twins

EMILY'S POV

Immediately Tristan ordered that two betas take the boys and the rest covered me, we began to head for the forest. I could hear growls behind me but we were just running too fast to know what went wrong, I didn't care either. The twins were the most important thing to me.

We ran further into the forest, with the pace we used, the children almost cried out, but I smashed them immediately signaling them to keep quiet.

“Don't cry, we are just escaping okay,” I told Lucas who already looked tired. Liam comported himself immediately. We continued running.

Suddenly the enemy started catching up with us, we increased our pace too. I was riding on the back of a beta with the children. I could not shift so that's the only way I could be transported.
