Chapter Ten: Unexpected Stranger

ELENA'S POV

I waited for more than an hour before I heard the school bells ring. Then the gates began to open.

Power surged through me. The people I was looking for were so close now, what was left was the gate to open.

I stared at the gate with my eyes agape waiting patiently for the door to burst open. It did, and a storm of children scattered into different directions immediately but I still saw them. The wielders of the power I was looking for and they were…. Kids?
