Chapter Ten

It was a rollercoaster of feelings and emotions for Evelyn, after reading her dad's letter she was reminded of their time together as a family. She recognized his handwriting and was certain that it was from her father.

To Evelyn, her father Mr Blake Shelton was a fun, loving, and caring man and no matter what was in the journal she knew it wasn't going to change how she felt about him. She opened the journal and read for a while before falling fast onto the couch.

The next morning, she woke up and checked on Michael who was pretty much the same as the previous day. A few moments later, Mrs Wolf knocked on the door and Evelyn had to hide the letter and her father's journal before opening the door to let her mother-in-law into the room.
