Chapter Twenty

Adriel suddenly froze as images flashed in his head. He remembered this room, he had been in this room before. This was the same room he and Miss Garcia had spent the night together. Adriel froze in place as he let the images from that night flood his memory. He remembered her flushed face, how cute she looked under the lighting of the room. Gloria noticed the change in Adriel's attitude and disentangled from him. She eyed him curiously,

"Is everything ok? What's wrong?", she asked him.

Adriel did not reply immediately instead he stood frozen for a few more seconds before finally realizing himself. He blinked rapidly and looked at Gloria who was eyeing him curiously.

"Adriel, what's wrong? Are you ok?", she asked him again.

"I'm fine", Adriel finally answered.

"What's wrong? Why did you freeze like that?", Gloria asked him.

"Nothing is wrong. I'm fine", Adriel answered as he reverted back to his usual charming demeanor.
